A person who is inducted into the BMHOF shall have distinguished him/herself over many years of performing professionally in the various musical venues around Bisbee, Arizona.
Factors the committee considers in its selection process are:
• The age of the person
• The number of years the person has been playing music professionally
• The number of years the person has been playing music professionally in Bisbee
• The number of CDs that the person has to his/her credit
• The number of original songs the person has composed
• Ways in which the candidate supported other music groups or performers in the Bisbee area
• Ways in which the candidate has contributed musically and otherwise to the Bisbee community
